Technical Customer Assistance Specialist – Level 1 (Chat, No Phone)

Step into the role of a Level 1 Technical Customer Assistance Specialist, where you will deliver specialized support exclusively through chat interfaces. This position is tailored for individuals who excel in deciphering and resolving technical issues without the need for voice calls. You will be expected to handle a variety of technical queries, from basic troubleshooting to more complex problems, requiring a detailed understanding of the products or services being supported. This role offers a challenging yet rewarding environment for those passionate about technology and customer care.

What you will be doing: Live chat customer support agents handle incoming customer support questions via live chat on businesses’ websites and social media accounts. These could be support questions from existing customers or sales questions from potential new customers.

Contract length: No fixed term.

Rate: $35 per hour.

Skills/background needed: Must have a device able to access social media and website chat functions (Phone/Tablet/Laptop). Be able to work independently. Ability to closely follow provided steps and instructions. Have 10+ hours availability per week. Reliable internet connection.

Hours per week: 10 + hours a week.

Location: Remote work online (United States preferred).
